There are certain quilt shops that are on my Husband’s list of favorites. First it must be friendly, Second it must not be crowded (either with too many shoppers or too narrow aisles), Third it must have a chair for him to sit in and Fourth it must have food.

One of the shops that meets all of his criteria is Traditions @ White Swan in Hagerstown,  MD.

When entering this store you are warmly welcomed and the friendly owners & staff are happy to help you. And they even laugh at his good natured teasing!

Traditons has lots of wonderful fabric and many premade kits from which to choose.

And downstairs we have more!

Look closely at the picture above and you see his 4th favorite – Food! A crockpot of Chicken Corn Chowder, fresh bread with homemade apple butter, and scrumptious apple cake. Yum!

It’s getting late and we must leave & head East then South for one more stop today.
