The Quilter’s Quest consists of 10 locally owned quilt shops in the MD-DC-VA area. It occurs every November 10 for days. There are special patterns and fabrics, prizes, demos and more. For more information, you can check out their website here.
Each year there is a special fabric printed just for this Quest and available only from these 10 shops.
The featured fabric has outlines of the Washington, DC monuments.
Many stores have special demos and guests. At Traditions at White Swans in Hagerstown, MD, we visited with a lady from Cabin in the Woods Quilters.
Then, of course, there is the lovely scenery we get to see while driving from one shop to another. We often take the back roads.
The rolling hills of Northern Virginia still have some color.
Crossing from Virginia to Maryland over the Potomac River near Harper’s Ferry.
Heading to our final stop of the day.
We had fun yesterday. Now to straighten my sewing space so I can play wyth some fabric.
Happy Stitching!

The featured fabrics are beautiful and appear to be batiks. Now you have some new fabric and projects to work on this winter! It is always fun to start something new 🙂
