Fall 2018 Quilt Retreat – Set Up

While the attendees are packing their “mobile sewing studio” and deciding on which projects they plan to bring, the staff of Spirit Wind Ministries Retreat Center, Camelia & I are busy with the Set Up.

Quilt Retreat Fall 2018 – Setting up Tables/Workstations

The Spirit Wind Ministries Staff have cleared out some of the big room furniture and brought in tables. The menus have been planned and groceries brought in. The beautiful Queen Bed rooms have been prepared.

Camelia’s Quilt Retreat – Private Rooms for the Quilters

There will be two ironing stations with full size irons and ironing boards as well as two raised cutting stations for spreading out & cutting or pinning.

Quilt Retreat – Fireplace side of the Room – Cutting Table, Ironing Board and Sewing Stations

Each lady will have her space to assemble their sewing machine, small iron/pad, cutting mats & other supplies.

Name Tags have been made & goodies for everyone has been assembled.

Quilt Retreat Fall 2018 – Name Tags & “Blessing” (Snack) Bags

Since several ladies travel from a distance we have “early check-in” Wednesday at 6:00 pm, but the ‘official’ retreat will begin at 10:00 am on Thursday.
