Today started off cold – 32 degrees with wind causing it to feel like 19 degrees. But it was very sunny which left us all in a good mood. No where to go, except the Big Room to sew!!

Before breakfast, my first job was to add the final borders on my “Tulip Time” wall hanging – Done!
I have a couple of Pumpkin themed projects, so the morning was spent reviewing directions, calculating how to cut the fabric, and cutting the fabric. I don’t think I’ll get to sewing either project, so I just packaged up the cut pieces in baggies which will then be ready to sit and sew when I get home. Sorry, I forgot to get any pictures.
Sewing isn’t the only thing Camelia and I get to do during the Retreat. We take pictures, post to Facebook, write/upload Blog Posts, as well as other Administrative duties such as planning retreats in April & November of 2019. One of our friends caught us being administrative and posted to Facebook.

Quilt Retreat Fall 2018 – Administrative Responsibilities
No, we weren’t playing games or surfing social media. We were sharing pictures with each other, posting Retreat updates to Facebook, and checking calendars for 2019 retreat dates.
After supper (or is it dinner, oh well, it was the evening meal), we had show and tell. Some shared what they were working on the past few days, while others brought items to show.
Finally this evening I stitched up/quilted 2 Kennel Beds in support of Capital Quilts Care program. I’ll get pictures later.
Tomorrow is the last day of Quilt Retreat, Fall 2018. Probably not so much stitching will happen.
Happy Stitching & Moving!
