Hand Piece Quilt Along Progress – Week #4

I’ve had something nice to look at while hand stitching. My DH gave me some flowers for Valentine’s Day and plans are for a lunch at Olive Garden.

I’m enjoying doing hand work. Last week I made 2 of the Block #3 – Flying Geese.

The Clapper my brother-in-law made me has come in handy getting some of the bulky seam intersections flat.

I think I will go back and make a 2nd of the first block since I’ve made two of all the other blocks.

This week I’ve finished my first Block #4 – Quarter Square Triangles (QSTs) and have started my 2nd one.

Almost half-way through the Hand Piece Quilt Along co-sponsored by Patty of Elm Street Quilts & Kirstin of Simply Everyday Handmade – 4 blocks down and 5 more to go. #HandPieceQAL

Hope you are getting some sewing done this week.
