It’s Impossible!

Just look at all that fabric! Every roll includes 1 yard each of three different fabrics, all color coordinated and ready to make quilt top using one of the over 40 patterns available.

Fabric Cafe Booth 2017 Oaks Quilt Show

PA National Quilt Show Sep 14-17, 2017. Fabric Cafe Booth.

Can you imagine spending 4 days at this booth and NOT bringing some bundles home? Wednesday, after dropping off my sewing machine for a Spa Day at Hinkletown Sewing Machine shop and checking into my hotel, I joined Donna & Robert at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA, to finish setting up the Fabric Cafe Booth.

We had fun seeing returning customers and meeting new ones.  I am always excited to see the tops that I’ve made after they have been finished.

Sample Quilts

Sample Quilts: L-R Jacob’s Ladder, Diamond Dust, Pinwheels, It’s a Snap (New Pattern) and Pink Chevron

I made the tops for Jacob’s Ladder & the Pink Chevron.  The patterns for the three on the left are found in Donna’s book – Modern Views.

As I said at the beginning, it is impossible to spend 4 days with all this lovely fabric and not bring some home.  I’ll just share a few bundles.

I got 2 bundles of Halloween fabric.  I may make some pillowcases out of this fabric instead of a quilt.

Two more bundles: I love fall colors, so had to get this one, and the blue planes made a cute children’s quilt.

One of the nice things of Fabric Cafe’s 3-yard Bundles, is that you can use any one of the over 40 patterns available to make a top.  This sample was made using the 9 + 1 Pattern, but I may use another pattern.  I haven’t decided.

That’s all for now.  I had fun up at the Quilt Show, but am glad I’m home!

Hope you get some stitching done this week.

Happy Stitching!
