In my post earlier this month, I shared that I would be participating in an event hosted on Elm Street Quilts in which we identify One Goal that we wanted to accomplish this month.
For September’s One Monthly Goal I choose to make a quilt top (otherwise known as a flimsy). I didn’t pick up the fabric until two weeks ago.
I finished the Flimsy!! YAY!! Doesn’t it look nice next to my Fall Mums!?!

I have the backing pieced!! The quilt top is 46″ x 60-1/2″ so I needed to piece together two pieces of yardage to create the backing. I used the same gray that is in the top.
It’s going to the Long Arm Quilter for quilting. A fairly new quilt shop in the area, Prints Charming, has started offering long arm quilting. I will run up to visit with them today and see about getting this quilted.
I’ve even made a standard pillowcase and a travel pillowcase to match.
I have joined the others who have linked their One Monthly Goal. You may want to pop over and check out what the others have gotten done this month.
Happy Stitching!

Congrats on meeting your goal!
