First, I apologize to my readers for this post. You do not need to read any further. Flickr Support has contacted me about my photos not displaying or displaying stock photos.
I had deleted all incorrect photos from my posts because they were not mine and I was afraid the random selections could result in offensive material. But Flickr Support has requested links to posts so I’ve made this test.
So the test begins….
To start here is my photo from WordPress media.

Photo Shared from Flickr using Share to WordPress/ Jetpack to new post.
This was shared from Flickr, Click Share, Click Jetpack (WordPress app on phone) and selecting “new post.”
This photo displays correctly when previewing in the app. The link is https://flic.kr/p/2sqPW3c
Fyi – if above link is clicked a “Page Not Found” is displayed.

Photo shared from Flickr using the Share/Copy Link/and Embedded using the WordPress/ Jetpack block selection.
This photo displays correctly when draft is previewed in app. The link is https://flic.kr/p/2sqo9W1
All previous posts displaying stock photos instead of my selected photos have been edited to remove the Flickr links & replaced by images from my WordPress Media Library. I was upset that my readers were not seeing my images plus was concerned that the Stock Photos could be offensive.
The first I knew that Flickr images were being replaced was when a reader informed me in a comment on my July 22, 2026, post – https://mefutch.wordpress.com/2026/07/22/fabric-cafe-sample-tops-august-2025/
I assumed I had made a mistake. I always preview before posting and in my app all pictures were correct but after it was published I received a comment about the stock photo.
Then on my next post on July 25th – https://mefutch.wordpress.com/2026/07/25/hinkletown-car-date/ I checked after it was published and got a stock image instead of my photo – https://flic.kr/p/2sqPmjU
I did take an image which I attached to my 2nd request for support.

I unloaded & reloaded the picture and embedded the link again & it worked.
In the meantime I tried repeatedly and via different methods with increasing failures. I could no longer trust Flickr to display my images.
Assuming it was a bigger than just me issue I will again try using Flicker photos in my posts.
Coming Soon to my Blog
