I have two more finished quilt tops that need backing. This weekend time was spent messing up my sewing room looking for suitable backing fabric.
We need to make a trip south to pick up the two quilts that my longarm quilter has finished. We’ll take these two and leave them for her to quilt.

Continue readingOur local school system started back in session this week. I am returning to my morning bus duty for a neighbor family. While mother takes younger child to daycare I walk the 1st Grader to the bus stop and wait until her bus picks her up.
This is the story of a quilt made in a weekend. It really isn’t a completed quilt. It is the top and the backing which will be sent off to my longarm quilter ❤️ to be quilted. When it is returned I will trim it and add a label and binding.
It started with a kit and a pattern. Ironing and cutting were done on Friday.
