In January of this year I tested two 5 yard quilt patterns that Fabric Cafe revealed on May 12, 2026. Today I’m sharing these tops and I’ve included a few tips.
Saturday started with sleeping in a bit and a Overnight Breakfast Casserole.
I’ve become one of those cooks – you know the type, no recipe or measurements. Just throw things together and cook it until it’s done.
I am basically a homebody and would be very content to stay at home. I try to consolidate any trips into one or two days each week.
Now that I’m not longer adding two days running to PT I almost feel like I have two more days in my week!
Monday was errands and Thursday was Stitching Group and the rest of the week I was at home. We took advantage of the extra time to catch up on some housework.

Have you ever found a panel you really liked but were uncertain exactly what to do with it? Then this book is for you.
But you don’t need a panel to make these patterns. They will work well with large prints or directional fabrics.
Continue readingI know it’s still August but my mind is swirling with fall and even Christmas possible projects. I don’t have any specific items in mind, but have started pulling out fabric for inspiration.
While doing the cleaning in the sewing room I actually made a big mess pulling out Fall, Halloween and Christmas fabrics. Of course I also uncovered a number of UFOs.
These Mini Table Runners only need top stitched as there is no batting I don’t need to actually quilt.
