I know. I have way to much to do. But who can resist a Quilt Along? So I’ve added 4 projects to my “Current Project” List. These are running from September to November and are released on a different day of the week for 5 to 9 weeks. Two of them will definitely begin to get me into Holiday stitching!
Fall is approaching, even though the temperatures are still high. Maybe I can get back into sewing before the hustle & bustle of the fall holidays start taking my time. In addition to APQ’s UFO Challenge and Elm Street Quilt’s OMG, I’m planning on working on several UFOs and maybe get back to my Current Projects from earlier in the year.

I can now share some of the tops I’ve made this year for Fabric Cafe. Donna and Fran have been busy creating new patterns for their new book – Quilts on the Double. As both pattern tester and sample top maker, I’ve enjoyed seeing these quilts come alive. But I’ve had to keep them a secret. Until now!
I did a little cutting for my APQ’s UFO Challenge and am pleased to say I exceeded my goal for the One Monthly Goal sponsored by Elm Street Quilt. My plans to work on several UFOs and maybe get back to my Current Projects from earlier in the year was unsuccessful.

Looking toward the Dog Days of Summer, and I expect I will be spending more time in my sewing room. It seems that in July I was on a roll, so hoping to keep the momentum up this month.
