This has been a busy & HOT July! Temperatures were in the mid to high 90’s, but “Feels-Like” temperatures were well over 100F. The high temperatures combined with the high humidity often resulted in afternoon/evening thunderstorms. This month I didn’t get much done on my 5 Current Projects, but focused more on both APQ’s UFO Challenge and Elm Street Quilt’s OMG.
(OK, for those not in the quilting world – UFO stands for UnFinished Object, and OMG means One Monthly Goal.)
Where has the year gone? It’s hard to believe that it is July already. Working on my 5 Current Projects, I haven’t kept up the both APQ’s UFO Challenge and Elm Street Quilt’s OMG. Maybe I can get back to these projects.

Sorry to have been out of contact for so long. The end of April I attended a Quilt Retreat in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Oh, it was so nice!
Once we returned home I was busy making quilt tops for a new book by Donna at Fabric Cafe which was followed by more top piecing.

I wasn’t in my sewing room much last week, so I thought I’d share some of what I’ve done in the Kitchen. I have an electric pressure pot, but it’s not the popular Instant Pot. I have found that the recipes are basically the same.
My most favorite “dish” to cook in the electric pressure pot is Hard Boiled Eggs. I’ve always struggled when making Hard Boiled Eggs, because I dreaded peeling them. It seems I would pull off most of the egg whites when removing the shell.
After nearly 8 weeks working on my Five Current Projects I continue to be making progress. This week I’m trying to catch up blogging about my progress.
