2016 Pennsylvania National Quilt Extravaganza

Pennsylvania National Quilt Extravaganza is this week in Oaks, PA – just west of Philadelphia, near Valley Forge.  Opening day is Today and it will go through Sunday, September 18th.

Do you like going to quilt shows?  I do.  I enjoy seeing the work that has been done by very talented quilters.  Some include notes or stories about the quilt, the quilter and the inspiration behind the quilt.

And the Seasons are Changing–Fall 2016

I love seeing the Seasons change.  So, it is September and even though we’ve been having temperatures in the 90’s there are signs in the yard that Fall is fast approaching.

I took a quick walk around the front yard to see the work my DH has been doing.  Last week we went to Home Depot and filled the car with fall plants.

Mystery Quilt Challenge 

I like BOM (Block of the Month) and QAL (Quilt Alongs) that are frequently offered on the Internet or at Quilt Shops. A lot of the times these programs will challege me to learn something new.

Sometimes you know what you will be making and other times it is offered as a Mystery and you don’t know in advance exactly what it will look like.
