Whether you’ve been stitching for years or are a newbie, it is always interesting to see what other people post as tips. Sometimes I find myself saying “why didn’t I think of that” or “oh my, I forgot that!”
This week has been very productive! My husband had a business trip which was within a three hour driving distance. He was leading a class for 5 days and would be spending a week in a hotel.
He invited me to come along with him and since I can load a mini-sewing studio in the car, I said sure! The entire household had been sick, so I wasn’t as organized as I usually am. I walked around my sewing room and grabbed this and that.
One reason that I post projects here on “Friday Finds” is in the hopes that one day I will actually make them. Seems that a lot of people start off the New Year wanting to Organize their space. I’m not there. I would have to quit stitching in order to disassemble and reassemble my space and I don’t have patience for that.
Well, this will be short! I came down sick on Tuesday, and then the rest of the house followed. I guess you could say we like to share in this household. Luckily it wasn’t the flu. Just an ordinary stomach bug, but that slows you down for 48-72 hours.
