Fabric Cafe Reveal 8/11/2026

Yesterday Fabric Cafe released their newest book of eight 3 yard quilt patterns in a live Facebook/YouTube event. If you missed it you can head over to YouTube and view it there.

Have you ever found a panel you really liked but were uncertain exactly what to do with it? Then this book is for you.

But you don’t need a panel to make these patterns. They will work well with large prints or directional fabrics.

This is the second book Fabric Cafe has created to use panels. Introducing Panel Pizzazz 3 Yard Quilts.

The book includes patterns for 6″, 7″, 8″ and 10″ blocks plus for a full size panel.  All of the patterns will also work with directional fabric. As always, the math is done for you to enlarge most of the patterns to a Twin, Full or Queen/King size quilt.

The Tops I Made

In February of this year Fabric Cafe sent me two 3 yard bundles with two new Panel Patterns to test. I forgot to take a picture of the fabric for the second one, but here is the panel and two 1 yard cuts to make the Breezeway pattern. I just love the colors!

Taking care to match the block’s position to the picture of the quilt, I assembled rows 1 and 2 and then combined the rows..

I enjoyed making this quilt because I love the beach and in February it was cold & snowy!

The snow was almost gone by the time we took these pictures but you can still see a bit remaining in the bottom right corner. But the wind was making it even colder.

Pattern – Spirit

This panel and quilt definitely has a Southwest vibe.

The Heart Block fabric was directional (look close) and being a somewhat of a Perfectionist, it did require one HST to be remade.

This is a very pretty quilt. I wonder what it would look like in Christmas colors.

If you didn’t catch the live reveal you can watch it here. Return to the Fabric Cafe YouTube Channel on Thursday to see these patterns using yardage instead of panels.

Hope you enjoyed this peak into the new book. Do you have any panels waiting to be made into a quilt? I hope these patterns inspire you.

Just a note: I am just someone who loves Fabric Cafe’s 3 yard quilt patterns & enjoy working for them testing their well written patterns. The opinions expressed here are mine and I do not receive compensation for my reviews or posts.

Hope you are making progress on whatever you are stitching this week!

Happy Stitching!
