As many of my followers know, I make flimsy tops for quilts which will be displayed in the booth of Fabric Cafe at all the quilt shows they attend. Instead of “Tele-work,” I like to say I “Postal-work.” We don’t live close to each other – like nearly halfway across the country. So our work together is either via email or snail-mail. She emails me the patterns, then snail-mails me some fabric. After I make the tops/flimsies, I snail-mail them back to her. Staff at the shop makes the backing. She has a local longarm quilter that quilts them and she adds the binding as a final step. It is truly a cooperative endeavor!
