Today started off cold – 32 degrees with wind causing it to feel like 19 degrees. But it was very sunny which left us all in a good mood. No where to go, except the Big Room to sew!!

Before breakfast, my first job was to add the final borders on my “Tulip Time” wall hanging – Done!

Thursday was our first full day with nothing better to do than sew, and enjoy the fellowship of our Quilting Sisters and the wonderful food prepared by the Spirit Wind Staff.

After I finished hand stitching the Raffle Quilt’s label, I got to work on some of my projects.
Wednesday was a travel day for most Retreat Attendees. Arrival time was scheduled for 6:00 pm.

Cars were unloaded – Sewing Machines & supplies go into the Big Room where the tables were waiting to become Sewing Stations.
Personal Bags headed to the Bedrooms.

Then everybody headed to the Dining Room for an evening snack and a time of visiting & catching up.

While the attendees are packing their “mobile sewing studio” and deciding on which projects they plan to bring, the staff of Spirit Wind Ministries Retreat Center, Camelia & I are busy with the Set Up.
