I can’t believe that September is over. Then, on the other hand, with the cooler weather we’ve been having, it definitely is not summer any more. I have been busy, but I can’t share all of it.
(OK, for those not in the quilting world – UFO stands for UnFinished Object, and OMG means One Monthly Goal.)
I’m so excited about my progress. This is the second Fall 2021 Current Project to begin. This week is Week #2 and we have 2 more blocks and then the finishing instructions. This wall hanging/table topper is Snowmen & Silent Night. Unlike some other Quilt Alongs, this project is not a mystery. Jacquelynne Steves is sharing this project via email. There are advantages to being a night owl. The Project Linus 2021 Mystery Challenge QAL began yesterday. The first clue was to be released on Saturday 9/25 at around 8 AM Central Time. (With the Internet, you never know.) Late Friday (actually a bit after Midnight, Saturday morning) I logged into the site to make sure I remembered my password. SURPRIZE!! The clue and instructional video was available. So from about 12:30 to 2 AM EDT I downloaded/printed/read the clues and watched the videos as this week there was Clue #1A & 1B, and quietly sorted through my stash for the required fabrics.
